This Privacy Policy describes how ZenLineAtelier (“I”, “me”, “my shop”) collects, uses, and shares information when you purchase or interact with my shop on Etsy.com or through revivejapanart.com.

ZenLineAtelier sells digital downloads only. No physical goods are shipped, so no shipping address is required or collected.

If you visit revivejapanart.com, standard web analytics data may be collected, including browser type, pages visited, and approximate location (country level). This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

3. Why I Use Your Information

After this period, data is deleted or anonymized.

Etsy, Inc. (headquartered in the USA) may process your data as part of platform operations. Etsy is subject to its own data transfer mechanisms under applicable law.

8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or my business practices. Material changes will be posted on my Etsy shop page and website. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.

The digital products sold by ZenLineAtelier are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ZenLineAtelier and its operator, Suntora Co., Ltd., make no representations or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any product for any specific use.

2. Intellectual Property

The original historical artworks reproduced in ZenLineAtelier’s digital files are in the public domain (sourced from the National Diet Library of Japan and other public archives). ZenLineAtelier’s digital restoration work — including color correction, resolution enhancement, noise removal, and graphic reconstruction — represents original creative effort and is protected under applicable copyright law.

Purchase of a file grants you a license as specified in the product listing. Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of the digital files themselves (as separate downloadable files) is strictly prohibited regardless of the license tier purchased.

3. Color Accuracy

ZenLineAtelier’s restorations are optimized for accurate color reproduction; however, displayed and printed colors will vary depending on your monitor calibration, color profile settings, and the printing equipment and paper used. ZenLineAtelier is not responsible for color variations between the displayed preview and your final printed or displayed output.

All files are provided in sRGB color space at 8K resolution unless otherwise stated. For professional print production, we recommend converting to your printer’s color profile.

4. File Compatibility

ZenLineAtelier is not responsible for any inability to open, display, or use files due to software incompatibility, device limitations, or technical issues on the buyer’s end. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure their software supports the file formats listed in the product description before purchase.

5. No Professional Advice

Nothing in ZenLineAtelier’s shop listings, descriptions, or communications constitutes legal, tax, financial, or professional advice of any kind. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their use of purchased files complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZenLineAtelier and Suntora Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our digital products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Third-Party Platforms

ZenLineAtelier uses Etsy as its primary marketplace platform. Etsy’s own terms of service, policies, and purchase protections apply to all transactions made through Etsy.com. ZenLineAtelier is not responsible for the practices, policies, or technical operations of Etsy or any other third-party platform.

Digital Download Terms

Returns · Licenses · Usage

1. Digital Product Nature

All products sold by ZenLineAtelier are digital downloads. No physical item will be shipped. Upon payment confirmation, your files will be immediately available for download through your Etsy account (or the email Etsy sends with your order confirmation).

2. No Refunds Policy

Due to the instant-access nature of digital files, ZenLineAtelier does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations on completed orders. Once a digital file has been delivered or made available for download, the sale is final.

Exceptions:

If there is a technical error on our end (e.g., wrong file delivered, corrupted file), contact us within 14 days and we will replace the correct file at no charge.
If your order has not yet been downloaded, you may contact us and we will consider cancellations on a case-by-case basis.

Please read all product descriptions carefully and check file format compatibility before purchasing. We are happy to answer pre-purchase questions via Etsy Messages.

3. License Types

Each product listing specifies the license included. The following standard license tiers apply:

Personal License: For personal, non-commercial use only. You may print for home display, personal gifts, and personal projects. Commercial use is not permitted.
Commercial License: Allows use in products for sale (e.g., printed merchandise, framed prints for resale, digital products incorporating the image). The digital file itself may not be redistributed as a standalone download.
Extended Commercial License: Allows unlimited commercial reproductions, large print runs, and use in client work. Contact us for pricing.

All licenses are non-exclusive and non-transferable. Licenses granted to you may not be sublicensed or assigned to any third party.

4. Prohibited Uses

Regardless of license type, the following uses are expressly prohibited:

Reselling, redistributing, or offering the digital file for free download on any platform
Claiming authorship or original creation of the artwork
Using the artwork in any way that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful
Creating NFTs or blockchain-based tokens using these files without prior written consent

5. File Delivery & Access

After purchase, files are delivered automatically via Etsy’s download system. Files will be available in your Etsy account → Purchases & Reviews → Download Files. Etsy also sends a download link to your registered email address.

Download links remain active for 1 year from the date of purchase. If you need to re-download your files after this period, contact us and we will accommodate the request.
